guidelines set out by the WHS Act SA 2012 and WHS Regulations SA 2012 to ensure
our commitment to the safety of our clients, workers, and the environment.
All safety documentation is prepared accordingly in line with clients’
requirements, and all installation staff hold construction industry
standard 'White' cards. We are proficient in working within clients’ own
subcontractor portals to satisfy external audits and are approved to receive
work through Cm3 and Iprolive systems.
Products & Services
White Rock Wall Cladding
Contract Floor & Wall Systems are proud installers of Altro White Rock, a seamless wall cladding system made from high-quality, impact resistant PVCU sheets. Altro White Rock is hygienic and very easy to clean, because unlike a tiled surface there is no grout involved, so dirt and bacteria have nowhere to hide. It is the product of choice in many hospitals, medical and aged care facilities as well as other commercial settings.
Vinyl
Vinyl is an extremely durable and low-maintenance floor covering that can achieve the look of real timber, stone or slate at a more affordable price. Vinyl is hygienic and easy to clean, making it a popular choice for commercial and residential spaces. It is also water resistant which makes it a great option for rooms with moisture such as kitchens and bathrooms. Vinyl is long-lasting and can withstand a lot of wear and tear, as well as being resistant to stains and fading.
Broadloom Carpet
Broadloom carpet, otherwise known as wall-to-wall carpet, is an economical way of flooring large commercial areas, providing a seamless aesthetic and softness underfoot. The creative possibilities of broadloom carpet are endless, due to the extensive range of colours and prints available. It is also highly suitable for areas where the subfloor may have imperfections as it is often laid on underlay.
Carpet tiles
Carpet tiles are a great alternative to broadloom carpet, as they are simple to install and extremely hardwearing. Tiles can be easily replaced if stained or damaged, making this a versatile and cost-effective flooring solution in the long-term. Carpet tiles also offer great sound-proofing properties and slip-resistance. The colours and patterns available provide excellent design opportunities, with the square tile format lending itself to unique designs such as a checkerboard effect.
Timber Flooring
Where timber flooring is specified, we have several options available and can advise on the most suitable product and finish for your needs. Timber can offer a look of warmth and natural beauty and is ideal for commercial purposes due to its strength and durability. We can provide and install the timber, either floating on underlay or by direct stick method including a moisture barrier.
Rubber Flooring
Rubber flooring is an incredibly resilient surface that offers quietness, comfort and excellent slip-resistance. It’s ideal for healthcare, hospitality, heavy commercial and sports environments as it can withstand a high volume of foot traffic. The natural elasticity of rubber is great for absorbing impact which is why it is popular in gyms and weight rooms. There is a large variety of textures, patterns and colours available for selection.
Flooring preparation
Contract Floor & Wall Systems offers start to finish flooring solutions, from the preparation of the subfloor to the installation of the final surface. To ensure the end result is of the highest possible standard, the substrate will first be moisture tested and prepared to achieve the highest quality finish. Our experienced staff can advise which flooring solution would be most suitable for any given area and will specify the level of substrate preparation required on the existing floor. With experience in grinding, applying screed coatings and other finishes a great deal of care is given to ensure a high standard is delivered (see more information on Smooth:Grind).
Concrete Grinding & Polishing
With over 25 years experience, our subsidiary business Smooth:Grind caters for all grinding and concrete polishing needs for both commercial and residential clients. Grinding is an integral part of the floor preparation stage to allow for a professional finish that will be long lasting. By appropriately grinding down the concrete, the need for further floor preparation will be reduced, and in turn manufacturer warranties for the final surface will be satisfied. Where polished concrete is the desired result, quality epoxy products will create a seamless polished concrete surface which is hard wearing, durable and easy to care for.
Seamless Epoxy Floor Coatings
Epoxy is a two-part chemical compound which creates a highly durable and hard surface that is easy to clean and maintain. It is suitable for the most arduous industrial and commercial environments, from manufacturing, storage and logistics areas to mechanical workshops and aviation hangars. It is a great long-term flooring solution for high-traffic, large open areas.
